School links and ecumenism

Ecumenism

We have regular community links with our Anglican neighbours at St Alfege, and we take part in the annual interfaith celebration with St George‘s Garrison Church Trust, Woolwich, and the annual ‘Churches together in Blackheath’ Good Friday service of witness. 

There are regular faith leaders‘ breakfasts organised by our police liason officer, where leaders from the Salvation Army and Islamic and Jewish representatives meet informally. 

We have good long-standing links with music students and staff at Trinity Laban Conservatoire, and more recently, links with the Architecture Department at Greenwich University.

Schools links

We have strong links with both of our local Catholic schools, St Ursula‘s and St Joseph‘s. Mass is provided for pupils and staff at St Ursula‘s on feast days and ends of term.
